College accreditation is an ongoing process, with met criteria and renewals occurring every few years. Colleges may have full accreditation, pending accreditation, or revoked or limited accreditation.

It is essential to ensure the college and program you are interested in attending is appropriately accredited, or there is a risk you will be unable to write the VTNE upon graduation. A college's status may change, so it is crucial to remain up to date on any changes.
